DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY The Licensed Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves in a support capacity for new and existing insurance clients.
The primary objective of this position is to ensure the agency's personal lines clients feel valued, serviced, and well taken care of.
This person serves under the Assistant Vice President-Pruitt Agency Operations.

Essential Functions Statement(s) Deliver Wow customer service with prompt and courteous result Equipped to handle difficult and stressful situations in a calm and professional manner Responsive and proactive with an ability to prioritize workflow Maintain strict confidentiality and trustworthiness Proactively work the renewal process for all personal lines' clients, including identifying and pursuing potential cross-sell opportunities Create a positive brand image to agency's clients and the community as a whole Understand and explain insurance products offered to clients Work closely with in-house lead sources to quote and place proper coverage while cultivating new relationships brought in from referral sources Ability to answer clients' inquiries regarding insurance coverage, billing issues, claims filing, or other correspondence from insurance carriers Exhibit continuous growth in the areas of teamwork and personal integrity Set up & maintain paper and electronic filing system for records, correspondence, & other files as directed Gather and sort daily mail for all individuals within the office Attend meetings as instructed Locate & attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence Complete forms in compliance with company policies Conducts searches for needed information, using such sources as the internet and government databases Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed & implemented Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning is preferred / High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Insurance experience is preferred, but not required.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Word and Excel; and customized software.
Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies as the organization changes.
Certificates & Licenses:
Must be willing to obtain insurance license (at ageny's expense) within 90 days of hire.
Other Requirements:
The ability to relate with effectiveness to the public.
The ability to effectively perform several duties of the department and the ability to organize and achieve goals in a busy setting as well as effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
